How The Ambitious Seed Came To Be...

I know friends who merely need to wink and clap their hands twice to make their fruits and vegetables grow, I on the other hand am well-known in some circles for having the black thumb of death. Even so, I love to plant those seeds and try to grow.

A year ago I lined my one semi-sunny window in my small one-bedroom apartment with containers full of different kinds of vegetables and herbs, sadly only one survived, the tomato plant, which yielded a great many sweet tomatoes that I ate from for a month or so. The fact that only one plant survived out of many should have been discouraging but it was quite the contrary. It was then that I realized that growing your own vegetables and fruit requires a lot of patience because a big part of learning to grow is through trial and error.

So now with a yard of my own, a great space to grow all sorts of veg and fruit I'm giving it a go to growing my very own organic fruit and vegetable garden. So here is a blog full of gardening questions, set-backs, frustrations, smiles, laughs and eventually organic vegetables and fruits! From a girl who has an ambition to change her black thumb of death into a green one.

Please feel free to leave comments, suggestions and/or tips, I'd be much obliged!

Peace, Love & Happy gardening!
